A few years ago I was talking to an acquaintance about how to teach printable worksheets for kindergarten kids. She was quite concerned because she didn’t want to teach her children that way and felt as if it was being done too often.
When I told her that printable worksheets were a common thing in many classrooms throughout the country, she actually surprised me and asked me why I never thought of them.
This lead me to share with you my story and hopefully make this interesting for others as well who may be teaching and are not quite sure what is appropriate or what works best for their students.
My experience as a teacher has taught me that printable worksheets for kindergarten kids are a huge time saver for both teachers and parents, especially when you consider some of the other challenges that kids have such as being diagnosed with asthma.
As a matter of fact, one of the challenges that I faced when I first started teaching in the classroom was dealing with a child who had just been diagnosed with asthma. She was home sick all the time and was throwing up a lot as well as having a hard time sleeping at night because of it.
What worked for me was using some printable worksheets that allowed us to enter data on the worksheets and then print the information out. The data entered on the worksheets could be changed as the child’s symptoms changed or as the child got better.
This helped tremendously in making sure that I wasn’t forgetting anything important. All in all, printable worksheets for kindergarten kids can really help you make sure that you are getting an across the board program that your students will truly respond to and learn from.
You need to remember that the work you do today will directly affect the work your kids do tomorrow so make sure you spend enough time to do thorough research into what is available out there.
